Good source for Eve Online ISK

If you are looking for reliable EVE Online ISK sellers, MMOBUX should be your first step. Finding cheap Eve Isk is probably the main objective of the site (though one could say that commenting on the not-so-reliable ones seems to be another big thing over there). For new EVE players or those who don't want to waste their time mining, MMOBUX offers a one-stop solution that saves plenty of time. Eve Online ISK prices are displayed for different lots and all in all there are more than 100 sellers for Tranquility alone.

T2 Components production guide

Here's the link to a nice guide on the production of T2 components:

Another way to make Easy isk using contracts

Ok this is a good one and ive made millions using it ....

Find a destination station that is very unfriendly to everyone[mainly] like guristas scout outpost for e.g

Make a courier contract for some items[does not matter which items, dont make them too cheap or the haul too long] , now set collatoral at between 4 million and 8 million ....payment @ 2 million ...

It is almost guaranteed that within a day or 2, that contract will be underway...they will fail , and you get their colatoral

EVE Newbie Ice Mining Guide

Ice Harvesting

1: What is Ice?

Ice is something like ore. One big difference is the volume of ice: Every piece of Ice is 1000 m³. You can find it in Ice belts which are in some systems. There are much less Ice belts than normal asteroid belts. You must mine ice with a separate machine than a mining laser. Only mining barge can mine ice.

Ice Types:
  • Blue Ice (Gallente)
  • Clear Icicle (Amarr)
  • Dark Glitter
  • Gelidus
  • Glacial Mass (Minmatar)
  • Glare Crust
  • Krystallos
  • White Glaze (Caldari)
  • **NOTE** There are many different types of ice for each race.
2: For what is it needed?

The refined Ice is needed to run POS (Player Owned Stations). A POS uses much Ice per day, so there is always Ice needed on the EVE market.

3: What do I need for mining it?

You need at least a Mining Barge (Procurer, Retriever or Covetor) or an Exhumer (Skiff, Mackinaw or Hulk) (Industry V, Mining IV, Astrogeology IV and the skills for the ship class). And you need the Skills Ice Harvesting (Mining IV)

4: How can I mine it and how can i optimize my efficiency?

Fit your Ice Harvesters on your Mining Barge/Exhumer. If you can do it, fit Ice Harvester Upgrades. The Mackinaw has a +100% bonus on the yield of Ice Harvesters, but a -25% duration Penalty. The penalty is reduced by 5% for every Exhumers skill level. So you really should have Exhumer V with the Mackinaw to have a normal cycle time. The fact that it gets double yield per cycle makes it the most efficient Ice Harvesting ship available.

But I want to tell you, that Ice Harvesting is it only worth if you have Ice Harvesters II and a Mackinaw with Exhumers V and Ice Harvesting V

With that setup you can earn more money with mining Ice than with mining ore.

That way you get a real good efficiency and you can earn real much money with mining Ice.

5: Your corp and ice mining.

When mining in 0.0 space for ice try and get large runs together for large amounts of profit. Having large amounts of people running ice is great for 2 reasons. You get an increase profit yield. If you have 10 people and you fill up and divide the sum evenly it can really help. You don’t get only your share but the 10% of the millions the 10 people have a made. The second reason is defence. The pirates will and do attack miners. Having a 1 or 2 battleships or even larger scares away most rats. If the rats aren’t scared then you have large guns backing you up. This lowers the profit vs. risk ratio.

Newish to EVE (part 2)

Just to add to your quick newish guide for the new eve player. If your looking to rasie your faction standing. This is not a specific corp standing this is the Sovereignty that resides over the region your in.Example: You want to raise your faction standing with the Minmatar Republic.1. Do storyline missions for corps in your factions Sovereignty. Best would be to do storyline missions for the school corp you are in or started out in if you have joined a player corp.2. Turn in dog tags at data centers. For Minmatar regions you will find data centers in the following systems. They span the three regions held by the Minmatar Republic.System 1: Arlulf System 2: Engosi System 3: EmolgranlanYou can buy bronze and copper Angel dog tags on the market or hunt the angel cartle pirates. In region belts. I have picked this tags up on missions also.

Newish to EVE

Having spent a month or so with Caldari, I though I would convey my experience to the forum (for what it is worth). Hopefully I will update as time passes by. When I first started, after reading the manual which is generally helpful, I found that I needed more info on all sorts of issues.Starter TipsAlways do the tutorial – no matter how frustrated it might appear – well worth it for a host of reasons.Read the manual re
learning skills and in what order to carry them out (very useful)
mining for beginners
bookmarking (saves acres of time)
general gameplay; and
also if u want to specialiseFurther AdviceAfter doing this I then hit the corp. chatline – probably the most rewarding way of learning the game. Noobs are treated with respect and the corp. comrades are only too willing to help. No matter what you ask you will receive a reply – no question is considered too stupid. This is a big bonus, unlike other MMORG, where you can get ridiculed.I have had help in the following ways from the chatline thus:
Advice on ship setups
Best types of ore to mine
What to avoid and where to avoid
Received equipment I couldn’t afford for my ship
Received isk to help me buy goods/ships etc; and best of all
Received help in battles from fellow corp. members when in trouble on some missions.Next StepAll the above help make EVE a rewarding game and increase your satisfaction as your knowledge builds. You find yourself answering noob questions and assisting in their battle or mining plans. I find that staying with the corp. is essential in the first few months and maybe longer. Why, well they are safe, helpful and give you grounding in the game. Going straight into another corp. means that you cannot get back to your original one and your new corp. could be small, unsatisfying and you could end up doing basic chores and so on.AgentsPlay a big part in the game for someone like me and I spread them about so that I have a number on differing regions at differing levels and with differing corporations. Do not underestimate the rewards that you can receive. Sometimes it is also nice just to do an easy mission and relax out. I have found that there are two bits of information that are good advice:
Build up your LPs (loyalty points) you get better offers; and
Depending on your region do not accept offers re drugs, illegal gun running and other contraband (you can get caught instantly – lose isk and statusAs yet I have not venture out into the Eve of 0.4 regions that will come with more experience. Though I have been ganked on missions a number of times. Lesson learnt is to make sure that you know your enemy and equip your ship correctly. One setup does not do a catchall in this game. I have seen smaller ships take out bigger ones that generally would not happen in other games. There are numerous setups and you need to do some mathematics re your weaponry – no such thing as an easy target unless you have done your homework.I am finding this game, after an initial dubiousness, to be engrossing as it has both strategic and tactical aspects littered all over it. You have to work, with help sometimes, that is the best way to tackle an issue.

EVE Online Capital Ship Change Prompts Community Revolt

"What we want is pretty basic: We want to make fighter wielding capital ships more reliant on their support fleet and less of a direct über deathbringer," wrote newly-instated game designer Zulupark. "We feel that capital ships are being used way too much as better-than-battleships-at-killing-stuff ships, when we in fact think that they should be used more as the-ships-that-keep-other-ships-alive and provide-them-with-additional-firepower ships."Above is the quote that drives the entire EVE Galaxy into madness.
